Polycopies 10ème anniversaire

Nous souhaitons célébrer avec vous cette date symbolique et synonyme de dix années d’investissements consacrées à créer et à faire exister un festival réunissant tous les acteurs – éditeurs, photographes, auteurs, collectionneurs, écoles d’art, institutions et centres culturels, et bien sûr, les nombreux visiteurs – passionnés par le livre de photographie.
Au commencement de cette nouvelle décennie, nous espérons avoir inscrit Polycopies comme un festival incontournable du livre de photographie, et c’est avec le même plaisir que nous nous projetons maintenant dans la fabrication de nouveaux projets.
Nous vous espérons nombreux, du mercredi 8 au dimanche 12 novembre, pour rendre visite à près d’une centaine d’éditeurs et libraires venus de France et du monde entier, installés à bord du bateau Concorde Atlantique et sur les quais adjacents.
Nous donnons une large parole à la jeune création contemporaine en accueillant de nouvelles structures indépendantes présentes pour la première fois en Europe, un pôle de 5 écoles d’art et de photographie internationales, ainsi que 5 centres d’art français et internationaux.
Notre extension sur les Berges de Seine nous permet de proposer à nouveau dans la cale du bateau une riche programmation d’événements : lectures de portfolio gratuites ; tables-rondes et rencontres ; un nouveau format ‘Spotlight’, le mercredi et le dimanche, met en avant de nouvelles créations, des auteurs et différents acteurs des métiers du livre. Et pour finir deux soirées événement, le vendredi et le samedi soir, sont l’occasion de vous présenter l’association de collectionneurs Polycopies &Co et Le Vernacular Social Club, imaginé par l’artiste et collectionneur Jean-Marie Donat.
Enfin, cette année, les livres rares et de collection trouvent toute leur place sur le pont supérieur du bateau ; tout comme une sélection de ‘Pop Up’, de jeudi à dimanche, permet à de jeunes structures de pouvoir participer au festival.
Polycopies continue donc d’être le lieu privilégié pendant Paris Photo pour observer dans leurs immenses diversités la production et la créativité des éditeurs indépendants français et internationaux.
