There are times when I wander through the world around me with the wide-eyed hesitancy of a tourist. Surrounded by such apparent absurdities, who or what are we to trust?
Each of these photographs are hinged on the idea of perspective and how this informs the way we understand and interact with the world around us. Sometimes we see things only on a superficial level and fail to appreciate the deeper significance. Other times we read too much into situations and project exaggerated negative or positive attributes to what are essentially anodyne scenarios. This is indeed to be human, but it would seem in these times, it is getting harder and harder to discern the fact from the fiction.
