Rencontre avec l’artiste Isabelle Cornaro exposée au MRAC Occitanie et à Paris

Alors qu’Isabelle Cornaro bénéficie d’une carte blanche au MRAC Sérignan, à valeur de précipité sur l’ensemble de ses recherches sur la fétichisation des images et des objets via un transfert entre sa production filmique, sculpturale et picturale, je la rencontre au sein de son atelier parisien.

Quels sont les ressorts derrière cette fascination immédiate qui s’installe entre pulsion scopique et malaise perceptif, violence et décomposition programmée ?

Elle est revenue sur ses derniers films, sa collaboration avec l’univers de la mode, son exposition chez Balice Hertling et son expérience à la Rijksakademie d’Amsterdam.

Après une formation en littérature et histoire de l'art, Marie de la Fresnaye intègre le marché de l'art à Drouot et se lance dans l'événementiel.
