Une Bibliothèque : Sélection de livres photo par Irène Attinger 1956-2015 Kodachrome de Luigi Ghirri

Avec près de trente-deux mille livres, la bibliothèque de la MEP compte l’une des plus belles collections de livres de photographie au monde. Après « Une collection » publiée en 2015, voici « Une Bibliothèque » sortie en coédition MEP/Actes Sud. Pour présenter l’ouvrage, Irène Attinger, responsable de la bibliothèque de la MEP, a sélectionné 10 ouvrages publiés entre 1956 à 2015.

En remarque liminaire, j’insiste sur le fait que ma sélection n’est pas une hiérarchie mais un parcours dans le temps et l’espace, de 1956 avec la sortie du livre de William Klein « New York » suivi de « Les Américains » de Robert Franck jusqu’ au « Voyage Italien de Bernard Plossu en 2015.
Et c’est dans ce même esprit que j’ai sélectionné ces dix livres en essayant de proposer quelques découvertes. Irene Attinger
